Hungarian Honorary Consul serves as the President of the Federation of Entreprises in Belgium

We are very proud of our Honorary Consul in Wallonia, Mr. René Branders, who now also serves as the President of the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium (FEB-VBO), Belgium’s leading employers’ organisation. Drone Forum at the Embassy

On 30 March, a Hungarian-Belgian Drone Forum took place at the Hungarian Embassy in Brussels. The panel discussions focused on R&D cooperation, dual-use/defence industrial drones and agricultural drones. The event was attended by nearly 50 representatives of companies, universities and research institutes. H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács and Head of the Commercial Section, Dorottya Bősze welcomed the participants. The programme was supported by the Department for Cultural and Scientific Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary and by Euroatlantic Plc.

Commemoration on the occasion of the 175th Anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution and Freedom Fight of 1848-1849

On the occasion of the 175th Anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution and Freedom Fight of 1848-1849, H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács laid a wreath of remembrance at the grave of Lajos Kossuth's mother, Mrs. Lászlóné Kossuth, in the Saint-Josse-ten Noode cemetery. At the solemn commemoration, we could hear the blessing given by Father István Havas and Kossuth songs performed by musician Tamás Zsári.
