Legalisation of signatures

 

For legalisation of signature the client has to appear at the Consulate in person and present his or her valid passport or ID card. Appointments can be booked through our online system. Please choose the following case type „Legalisation - signature”.

 

You either sign the document in the presence of the consul or you recognise the signature on the document as your own in the presence of the consul.
The consul certifies the authenticity of the signature but does not take responsibility for the content of the document.

 

In case you wish to sign a document on behalf of a company as an authorized representative of the company, please present the certificate of incorporation of the company („hiteles cégkivonat”) issued within 30 days.

Legalisation of copies


For legalisation the client has to appear at the Consulate in person and present his or her valid passport or ID card. Appointments can be booked through our online system. Please choose the following case type „Legalisation of copy”.

 

The Consulate can either prepare a certified copy of the original document presented by the applicant, or legalise the copy the applicant made if the original document was also presented at the Consulate.
