Liszt Institute - concert and donating a portrait
On 1 June, Hungarian pianist József Balog joined the Belgian Flash Ensemble giving a classical music concert, as an homage to László Lajtha and his teacher, Béla Bartók. Preceding the concert at the Liszt Institute Brussels ׀ Liszt Intézet Brüsszel, Cultural Service of our Embassy, gallerist Pierre Goffin solemnly donated to the Embassy a portrait of Lyvia Salgo-Dengyel, painted in 1955 by her husband, Tibor Dengyel
National Day of Luxembourg
On 23 June, on the occassion of the National Day of Luxembourg, an official celebration took place at the Philharmonie Luxembourg in the presence of H.R.H. Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, members of the Grand Ducal family, members of the parliament and the diplomatic corps accredited to Luxembourg. H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács represented Hungary at the event.
Meeting with the Brussels Ambassador of Niger
On 16 June, H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács met with H.E. Ide Alhassane, Ambassador of Niger to Belgium, with whom he discussed opportunities for bilateral cooperation between the two countries and also the Missions of Hungary and Niger in Brussels.

Farewell dinner in honour of the Ambassador of Austria
On 15 June, H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács offered a farewell dinner in honour of H.E. Elisabeth Kornfeind, Ambassador of Austria to Belgium and to NATO, with the participation of Mr. Olivier Belle, Head of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belgium and several ambassadors accredited to Belgium.
