The new Ambassador of Spain, Mr. Alberto Antón Cortéz paid a courtesy visit to Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács. The meeting focused on the possibilities of cooperation under the Spanish-Belgian-Hungarian Trio Presidency.

Meeting of the Hungarian Minister of Justice and the Belgian Minister of Foreign and EU Affairs
On 7 February, Hungarian Minister of Justice, H.E. dr. Judit Varga met with H.E. Hadja Lahbib, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Belgium. The main focus of the very constructive discussion was the upcoming 2023-2024 Spanish-Belgian-Hungarian EU Presidency Trio, then the two ministers reviewed current bilateral and EU matters. H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács also attended the meeting.
Musical folklore in Ukraine - Presentation of the Polyphony Project at Liszt Intitute
On 8 February, the Polyphony Project was presented by the project leader, Miklós Both at Liszt Institute Brussels. The mission of the Polyphony Project is to explore, preserve and present the living musical folklore of Ukrainian villages. Having accumulated over centuries, this legacy is finally available online in an organised form. The event was organised at the initiative of MEP György Hölvényi, in cooperation with Liszt Institute Brussels. The audience was welcomed by H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács and Ms. Nataliia Anoshyna, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Ukraine.
HUN-BEL 100 - a talk with Carl Van Eyndhoven
The first Hungarian diplomatic mission in Brussels was established in 1922. In the framework of the centenary, we recorded interviews with prominent figures, Belgians and Hungarians, who created bridges between the two countries and managed to bring Hungary and Belgium closer together through their activities.
