Meeting with Agoria, the Belgian Business Association
On 30 January, Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács and Dorottya Bősze, Commercial and Trade Attaché held a meeting with representatives of Agoria, the Belgian Business Association to explore potential business cooperation opportunities and synergies. The meeting was also attended by René Branders, Honorary Consul of Hungary in Wallonia and President of Agoria. We look forward to the realisation of further joint Hungarian-Belgian projects!
Performance of ballet HABISZTI on the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day
On the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the ballet “HABISZTI” was performed in Brussels by the Gyula Sárközi Company. We also commemorated the victims of the Roma Holocaust at this touching event. The main patrons of the evening were Mrs. Lívia Járóka, Member of the European Parliament and H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács.
Remembering the victims of the Holocaust
On 27 January, H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács and Mr. Ari Epstein, Honorary Consul of Hungary in Flanders laid the wreath of remembrance on the occasion of the International Holocaust Memorial Day in a moving ceremony organised by the Kazerne Dossin Museum and Memorial. The Ambassador was accompanied by Ms. Natália Oszkó-Jakab, Director of Liszt Institute Brussels, and Ms. Gabriella Nagy, Hungarian Community Diplomat.
Ambassador's participation at the event organised on the occasion of the visit of the President of Israel
On 26 January, H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács attended the event organised on the occasion of the official visit of the President of Israel, H.E. Mr. Yitzhak Herzog in the Grand Synagogue of Brussels with Mr. Ari Epstein, Honorary Consul of Hungary in Flanders.
