On 8 April the exhibition “Between Hell and Paradise – The Enigmatic World of Hieronymus Bosch” was inaugurated by H.E. János Áder, President of Hungary, at Budapest’s Museum of Fine Arts. At the invitation of dr. László Baán, Director-General of the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest, H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács also attended the opening ceremony of one of the most significant Hieronymus Bosch exhibitions in the past fifty years. Original paintings by Bosch came from Paris, Boston, Madrid, Berlin, Frankfurt and Rotterdam. Even the "Last Judgement" triptych from Bruges’ Groeningemuseum is displayed due to the support of the Embassy of Hungary in Brussels. The exhibition runs until July 17.
