The Hungarian Embassy in Brussels together with the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture organized in Brussels the two days Hungarian Food Days – Business Forum event. On the 9th of June, a business forum and fair took place in the afternoon. The program started with a short seminar where the Belgian partners got an overview about the Hungarian agriculture and food industry. Afterwards the invited Belgian food importers had the possibility to visit the fair where the products of some 62 Hungarian producers and manufacturers were presented.
The morning workshop of 10 June was organized specifically for the Hungarian exhibitors in order to inform them about the specificities of the Belgian food market. The representative of the Belgian Government and the Belgian Food Industry Association gave practical and professional advice in order to realize a successful market entry in Belgium. The Hungarian products received an extremely positive welcome by the Belgian partners. We look forward to seeing the result of this event on the shelves of Belgian supermarkets!
