1 October 2019, the Hungarian Embassy organized a panel discussion about water management with the participation of Mr. István Kenyeres, founder and CTO of Biopolus Ltd.; Mr. Bence Fülöp, CEO of Trinity Enviro Ltd.; Mr. Richárd Vattay, CEO of Water & Soil Ltd.; Mr. Tamás Kovács, director general of Szabadics Ltd. and Mr. László Regőczi, CEO of Primus Mineral Water Ltd. The aim of the event was to present the achievements of the Hungarian water export and innovation to European and Belgian water institutions and to the companies in the field of water management.
After the opening remarks of Gabriella Nagy commercial attaché, H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács gave an overview about the 2019 Budapest Water Summit by highlighting its objectives, programme and strategic motto. Following the keynote speech, the CEOs of the Hungarian companies presented their international water projects, focusing on the system established for circular urban water treatment and management; the projects in the field of soil erosion and agriculture; the technologies for wastewater treatment and for recycling industrial wastewater. The event was closed by B2B meetings with the participation of Fresh Water Solar Systems, Global Water & Energy Group, Desotec and ESEP Water Treatment.
