On 7 February, Hungarian Minister of Justice, H.E. dr. Judit Varga met with H.E. Hadja Lahbib, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Belgium. The main focus of the very constructive discussion was the upcoming 2023-2024 Spanish-Belgian-Hungarian EU Presidency Trio, then the two ministers reviewed current bilateral and EU matters. H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács also attended the meeting.
On 7 February, during her official visit to Budapest, H.E. Hadja Lahbib , Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Belgium stopped at the Buda Castle and viewed an exhibition presenting a selection from Belgian symbolist sculptures of the Museum of Fine Arts’ collection of international art. The minister was accompanied by H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács and H.E. Siegfried Peinen, Ambassador of Belgium to Hungary.
