On 8 November, H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács attended a conference on National constitutional heritage and European integration, entitled From the Aranybulla (Hungarian Magna Charta, 1222) to the European constitutional values. This year Hungary celebrates the 800th anniversary of the Golden Bull (Aranybulla), one of its most emblematic constitutional regulations. To commemorate this, an international conference was held on the role and significance of constitutional heritage. The event was organised by the Brussels Office of the Foundation for a Civic Hungary together with Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary and the European Public Law Organization. Several MEPs participated in the conference and took part in the panel discussion, including László Trócsányi, Kinga Gál and François-Xavier Bellamy. The closing remarks were delivered by H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács.

On 24 September, the 1st Hungarian Folklore Day was organised by Art&Culture Hungarica, a Luxembourg-based Hungarian association. The organizers showed Hungarian folk art and costumes through a beautiful exhibition, an interesting presentation as well as a professional folk dance performance. Visitors had the opportunity to buy Hungarian products and taste delicious Hungarian dishes cooked on the spot.

On 14 October, H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács had a meeting with Mr. Mike Hentges, Diplomatic Advisor and European Council Sherpa to the Prime Minister of Luxembourg. After exchanging views on current EU and bilateral dossiers, they discussed the preparations for the upcoming Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the EU and the diplomatic centennial between Hungary and Luxembourg, both due in 2024.

On 21 October, Bart De Wever, Mayor of Antwerp along with the management of the Port of Antwerp-Bruges hosted a working lunch for the ambassadors accredited to Belgium in the City Hall of Antwerp. At the event, Hungary was represented by H.E. Ambasssador Tamás Iván Kovács.

On the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the 1956 Revolution and Freedom Fight, a reception was held for the Hungarian community living in Belgium. The compatriots of the 1956 Revolution were welcomed by H.E. Mr. Tamás Iván Kovács, Ambassador of Hungary to Belgium and his spouse, Dr. Edit Szepessy, H.E. Mr. Bálint Ódor, Permanent Representative to the European Union, H.E. Mr. Zoltán Nagy, Permanent Representative on the North Atlantic Council and Colonel Gábor Erbán, Defense, Military and Air Attaché. The Hungarian folk music was performed by the Csereklye Band.
