On 18 November, a public seminar discussion entitled "Shaping the Future of Europe: Hungary's Vision for the 2024 Presidency" was held at the House of Hungary in Brussels, organised by the Embassy of Hungary in Brussels and the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs. The event was opened by H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács. The panel consisted of Gladden Pappin, President of the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs, Frank Füredi, Executive Director of MCC Brussels and Cornelis J. Schilt, Professor of Vrije Universiteit Brussel.

On 23 November, the renowned Hungarian Orfeo Orchestra and Purcell Choir delivered a captivating performance of Viennese Baroque music at De Singel, under the direction of conductor György Vashegyi. The evening was attended by H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács and his wife, Dr. Edit Szepessy, as well as Ari Epstein, Honorary Consul of Hungary, and his spouse, along with Zsófia Kovács, Director of the Liszt Institute Brussels.

On 11 October, a ceremony of oath of citizenship took place at the Embassy. H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács emphasized that the oath is the legal confirmation of belonging to the Hungarian nation. Congratulations to our new citizens!

On 13 October, a national commemoration took place in Luxembourg with Luc Frieden, Prime Minister of Luxembourg and Xavier Bettel, Minister of Foreign Affairs. This day commemorates the fight of the people of Luxembourg during the Nazi occupation. Hungary was represented by Szabolcs Nemes, our Chargé d’Affaires in Luxembourg.

On the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the 1956 Revolution and Freedom Fight, a reception was held for the Hungarian Community living in Belgium. The compatriots of the 1956 Revolution were welcomed by H.E. Mr. Tamás Iván Kovács, Ambassador of Hungary to Belgium and his spouse, Dr. Edit Szepessy, H.E. Mr. Levente Bánfalvi on behalf of H.E. Mr. Bálint Ódor, Permanent Representative to the European Union, H.E. On the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the 1956 revolution and freedom fight, a commemoration mass took place in the Saint Michael and Saint Gudula Cathedral. The Hungarian community living in Belgium marched with candles to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, where H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács held a commemorative speech.
