Online meeting between the representatives of the Egmont Institute and the Hungarian Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade

Constructive discussion with the representatives of the Brussels-based Egmont Institute and the Budapest-based Hungarian Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade, namely with Director Jean-Louis De Brouwer and Ambassador and senior advisor François as well as with Director Márton Ugrósdy. The virtual event was organised by the Embassy and opened by Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács. The Ambassador of Belgium to Hungary, Siegfried Peinen also joined the event.

Meeting with Minister of Interior Annelies Verlinden

The Minister of Interior of Belgium, Annelies Verlinden received a courtesy and work visit from Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács. They reviewed the topics of common interest, e. g. safety, the possibility of cooperation within the framework of the Hungarian V4 Presidency starting in July, the centenary of the establishment Hungarian-Belgian diplomatic relations in 2022 and the Spanish-Belgian-Hungarian EU Presidencies in 2023-2024.
