On 8 January, H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács and his wife, Dr. Edit Szepessy attended the New Year’s Reception of H.M. King Philippe and Queen Mathilde in the Royal Palace of Laeken. They had the opportunity to talk to His Majesty in person, as well as to H.E. Theo Francken, Minister of Defence, Vincent Houssiau, Head of Cabinet of King Philippe, Diplomatic Adviser Peter Claes, Chief of Staff Foreign Affairs and Security of Prime Minister Bart De Wever, and other colleagues from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and many fellow Ambassadors.
