On 6 November, H.E. Ambassador Tamás Iván Kovács ceremoniously presented the Hungarian Silver Cross of Merit to Michel Deraemaeker, the Chief of Police of the Police Zone Uccle, Watermael-Boitsfort and Auderghem, recognizing his (and his colleagues) outstanding contribution to public safety and his unwavering dedication to the community and commitment for ensuring the safety and security of our Embassy of Hungary, including our high-level events during the memorable Belgian-Hungarian diplomatic centennial in 2022 and our common EU Presidency year in 2024.
