An organ concert by Gergely Rákász was followed by the light of the flame of the Revolution. Dr. János Horváth, freedom fighter and former doyen of the Hungarian National Assembly gave a moving ceremonial speech reminding the audience of the importance of national unity. The holy mass was celebrated jointly by two Hungarian pastors, father István Havas from Brussels and father Sándor Dobai from Liège. Finally we marched by candle light to the pillar of the Unknown Soldier where following the speech of H.E. Ambassador Zoltán Nagy the Hungarian community laid wreaths to pay tribute to the heroes of 1956. Find more pictures on our Facebook.
